As a full time, professional, Native American style flute maker I create many recording quality flutes in any one year. Many of these are created specially for customers and others I create just for pleasure and offer them for sale on eBay. I have listed below a small selection of those I have created not only for your perusal but to offer you the opportunity of owning a similar version of any of these instruments. Or, if you wish, you can select various aspects from any of these flutes (or your own ideas and designs) and create your own style of flute.

It's so easy to do! Just email (or telephone) me with your wishes or designs so that we can discuss your requirements in detail and within a short time your flute can be in your home, with you enjoying its wonderfully, magnificent music.

Figured Big Leaf Maple, Figured Walnut, Real Sterling Silver, Double Vision Flute.

Beautifully figured Big Leaf Maple and figured Walnut went into creating this instrument. The blending of these two magnificent woods is enhanced with real sterling silver banding matched with additional sterling silver banding at the foot end of the flute.

The two photographs used for this illustration were taken under different lighting conditions to emphasize the extra-ordinary grain patterns which seem to stand out in a three dimensional illusion.

The sound quality obtained by using this blend of materials produces a flute that has a warm, crystal clear song that responds perfectly, and instantly, to the players demands.

The block which sits proudly on the bridge of this instrument is one of my personal favorites. I call it one of my Double Vision blocks because it can be seen as a North West design birds head or a full sized bird in flight! Can you see it?

As a point of interest, the sterling silver banding is around 1/32nd of an inch thick, is invisibly soldered into rings to the highest standards applied by Jewelers and is inserted into the flute using a method I created especially for this purpose. The insertion of the banding ensures it is flush with the flute body but does not enter the sound chamber. This allows the whole sound chamber to be of wood which maintains the natural sound of the instrument. This method of insertion is similar to the Ferrule banding method I designed which allows a flute to be banded with many different woods and in many places along the length of the flute without degrading the strength of the instrument.
