Walnut & Old Growth Redwood Whale Flute.

Another of my creations from wonderful Walnut but with the addition of 600 year old, old growth, Redwood end caps and Whale block.

The end caps are highlighted from the Walnut with thin bands of Basswood which compliments the whole concept of this flute perfectly.

The whale block is based on a North West design and has a real Turquoise cabochon to represent its blow hole.

As with all the flutes I create from Walnut, the warm, smooth yet crystal clear voice will fill the air as you play bringing delight to performer, player and listener.

Walnut Owl Flute

This Owl flute was one of the first I made of its kind several years ago. The whole flute was created from Black Walnut with the addition of real Turquoise Cabochons which are placed between the fingering holes and the directional/tuning hole.

The Owl block is carved from a piece of very old gunstock Walnut which was found in the workshop of a long retired gunsmith.
